Obtaining a work permit for a foreigner

✅ To hire a foreigner, the employer must obtain a permit from the Employment Center. To do this, you must submit the following documents:

1. Application; 2. Notarized translation of a foreigner’s passport; 3. Photo of a foreigner 3,5х4,5; 4. A copy of the draft employment agreement (contract); 5. Other documents depending on the status of the foreigner. The term for consideration of documents and decision-making on the issuance of a permit is 7 working days.

✅ Extension of a foreigner’s work permit

The permit is issued for a period of 3 months to 3 years. To extend the permit, the employer submits the following documents: 1) application in the form specified by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; 2) a photograph of a foreigner or a stateless person measuring 3.5 x 4.5 centimeters; 3) documents according to the list for obtaining a permit, if they have changed.
